EMBO Fellows Meetings
EMBO organizes annual Fellows Meetings for those fellows who have recently completed their long-term fellowships.
This annual event aims to bring fellows together in a friendly atmosphere for them to share their experiences, meet other fellows, and establish new collaborations and contacts. Each fellow can present his/her work with prior submission of a short abstract, which is also published in the meeting booklet. Fellows have the opportunity to meet the EMBO fellowships team and give feed-back and suggestions on the activity of the programme.
In recent years, a Science Communication Workshop
has been included in the meeting, providing more information about communications with the public and media.
Next EMBO Fellows Meeting will take place on 17 - 20 June at EMBL Heidelberg.
Since 2004, a biennial Meeting in the US has been held for EMBO Fellows working overseas. The last EMBO US Fellows Meeting was held on 7 - 9 November 2008 at the Harvard Medical School in Boston, US.
