The second EMBO US Fellows meeting took place at the Salk Institute in La Jolla on 11 - 13 November 2006.
Adjoining the city of San Diego, La Jolla borders to Pacific to the south and extends north to Torrey Pines State Reserve and Del Mar, California. Truly beautiful place it gathered both new and former EMBO Fellows.
Salk Institute for Biological Studies in La Jolla gave EMBO the opportunity to bring together the fellows working in North America in a friendly atmosphere with the purpose of sharing their experiences, meet other fellows, establish new collaborations and contacts.
This meeting joined together 90 Fellows, which are currently working in United States and Canada. During the Poster introduction talks Fellows had the possibility to present and discuss their projects with the other participants.
